Here's a picture of the white patch I'm talking about. What does it indicate in the back breeding? Friesian? Simmental?

Simmental. And it could be well back in the breeding.

Hereford can bring a bit of white in the face too.

there is an Angus that brings the star in the forehead but it i smaller than that. Had a few AA with it always superb animals. Some were suckler AA and some half fresians.

I like to see anyway in a continental because it indicates she should have milk!

The simmental cross red limousin will bring a white forehead but normally a longer white patch. I have a few of them. At a guess, that cow looks to have friesian/holstein breeding in her judging by the shape of her head. A white patch on the head or udder will normally mean there's milk there somewhere.

That depends pak. I notice our bull when crossed with the sim cows marked the heifers like the cow in the photo. My neighbour has a malibu bull and when he was put to sim cows they always had the full white face with the red around their eyes. Their is a big variation within every breed.
