Right after a frustrating summer my bread and butter is finally back (thank christ!!).

Starting bank is a tenner, bookie is PP.

1st match, from the land of the white fern we have Hawkes Bay v Auckland, 8 30 kickoff.

    3 bets here:
    Auckland +14 @ 1/9 €5
    Auckland -1 @ 10/11 €1
    Auckland to win by 1-12 points @ 15/8 €1

Reasoning, Hawkes Bay are only promoted, Auckland looking to bounce back following an embarassing Super 15, can see Hawkes Bay only coming out of this one with a LBP at best.

Slight scare after Auckland pissed away a 17 point HT lead but a 73rd min try means the bacon comes home.

    FT 36-29

Next bet is New Zealand v Australia in Auckland tomorrow morning,

    Next bet:

    Racing Metro v Toulon

Those 'lovely people' at PP have taken down the alternative handicap market for this one so I'll have to go with Toulon +12.5 points @ 2/9

Toulon are effectivley the City of Rugby, however they go away to the Chelsea of rugby here.

I expect a kickfest here with the scores going up in multiples of 3

23-21 in the end, if only they had the alternative handicap up for this one

Going for a treble for the next one:

Lyon v Tarbes : Lyon +1 HT AH @ 1/6 Lyon should have far too much for Tarbes
Bayonne v Stade Francais: Bayonne +4 HT AH @1/5 Stade haven't won here in a few years, doubt they'll get much change here
Toulouse v Stade Montois, Toulouse to win by 13+ @ 1/5, nothing short of a massacre here will count as an upset

Not too bad, the Canterbury misjudgement was a costly one, in the black for the week though which can't be a bad thing
