do i have to drop out?

so i went off books last year and have now decided that i do not want to continue with my course, i have not contacted tcd to tell them this, do i actually have to or will they know when i don't register this year? if i do where do i go?

You might be liable for fees if you don't formally 'withdraw', as TCD put it.
