Hey, I got confirmation yesterday that I am eligable for the grant this year. I need to get a form stamped by the college before i receive any payments from the county council. The question I have is, will the college still stamp my form even If I havent registered yet, would it be enough to just show them my student card? I am travelling to Dublin tomorrow, so could stop on my way to go to maynooth and get it stamped. It would be handy to have the money as soon as possible!

I think you have to wait until after you're registered! I remember I had to do that when I needed a form stamped for something a few years back. It's a pain >.<

They'll give you a form saying you're expected to register in september but that's as far as it extends.

I had to do this last year...On the day I registered, I just got them to stamp the grant form as well. So yeah you probably need to register first.
