What was this game called?

    Hi everyone.
There is this arcade game that used to be addicted to in the late 80's/early90's. I'd love to be able to track it down again now and see if it appeals to me. This much I remember.

It was a platform game, probably Asian.
Weapons included an axe which you would swing in an arc and a ball and chain (I don't mean a wife, I just can't remember the proper name for it)
It was mostly a side-scroller but on some stages it would scroll upwards where you would fight dragons that closely resemble Chinese parade dragons.

There were several boss fights throughout the game. The first one was a giant (we used to call him the Iron Man) His signature move was when he used to jump into the air and belly-flop on you causing instant death.

The other boss I remember had a hawk on his shoulder which would also attack you. The final Boss was two Iron Men.
After killing a boss you get a special challenge where, if successful you earn a bonus. The first bonus was to raise your maximun hp. Other bonus's allowed you to throw fireballs (or something)

    Ring any bells with anyone?
