Hi, I currently have a Vodafone 7mb line with an old BT Voyager modem. The modem is nearly knackered at this stage and I'm going to replace it. I am being offered a Huawei hd556 modem for €20 from Vodafone but know nothing about them. Has anyone had any experience with these before or am I better off getting a modem…

Hi,

I currently have a Vodafone 7mb line with an old BT Voyager modem. The modem is nearly knackered at this stage and I'm going to replace it. I am being offered a Huawei hd556 modem for €20 from Vodafone but know nothing about them. Has anyone had any experience with these before or am I better off getting a modem myself. Any good recommendations? I use it for gaming and need port forwarding and Dynamic DNS features but apart from that its just the bog standard usage. Any advice would be very welcome.
