Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows how you would get a job in aviation leasing?I have been offered a place on the following course,

    http://www.ul.ie/business/content/short-training-programmes

Although I am not a graduate of UL I do hold a CPL and have also worked in flight operations.

    Hi,

I'm a graduate of the Kemmy in UL myself as it happens. I worked in GE Capital Aviation Services out in Shannon for eight months during a paid work placement programme in my undergraduate course.

They have a large base out there, can't remember how many exactly. I know they recruit from time to time for various roles - I infact saw a job going with them only two weeks ago. I'll see if I can find where it was posted and send it on to you.

There are other firms aside from GECAS in Ireland in this industry, we are fairly big as a country for aircraft leasing, the GPA legacy has attracted other companies to base themselves, or at least their EMEA operations here.
