Anybody got any good suggestions of must read books.

I struggle going into a book shop now as to what to read, as there are so many choices and please don't say 50 shades of Grey absolutely dreadful not my typical read either and the time it took for me to read it I will never get back :) Some good classics and books with actual plots would be great ;)

I'm reading Porno by Irving Welsh at the moment and I love it. The accent is tough to get used to at the start but it adds do much to the characters that it's worth the initial struggle. And not all of the characters have the heavy accent, just Begby and Spud really.

I wish I had have read Trainspotting first now though but I will read it as soon as IB finish Porno, which will be soon cos I cannot put it down.

I'm reading Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. It's very good.

There's probably a better forum to post this question in though.

I'd say the Literature Forum would be the best bet.
