I think all the 15"/16" laptops have the same resolution: 1366 x 768

should be the same resolution in each size category. L-series is going to be a little higher quality though, with better materials, speakers, etc. C-series is usually "essentials" series - ie. cheap plastic.

    correction screen picture quality

You'll hardry find anyone here who'd have hands-on experience with all these models. Why don't you search and read proper reviews of these laptops.

screen resolution IME is such a hard specification to base your shopping on. It's a mild consequence of whatever you get, but that's about it. Unless you really had a specific reason for it you're better off not stressing out about it. It can't honestly make a large pile of difference to gaming or movie playback, not unless you're very die-hard about any particular task.

The OP has specified the query. Resolution is not as much an issue as is the display quality. Brightness, contrast, viewing angle, that kinda stuff... ;)

Jesus, even a harder thing to ask about. Definitely not specs I know or list on my sales floor. All this WXGA and WXFGHA BS - A screen is a screen (except when it's not..) - unless you're doing really photo-sensitive work, I really wouldn't worry about this. Ultimately, pretty much all laptops look about the same. There aren't any large differences in screen quality. The industry has pretty much adopted WXGA glossy as a standard and unless you go shopping, again, for a special screen, just don't even worry about it. If you're going to be really hung up on screen quality, get a Retina Macbook or something.

Hence my suggestion to look up some hands-on reviews for the models in question.

Its all going to be relative, unless you can find the same reviewer who's gone over a broad range of toshiba laptops.
