    Hi Everyone
    I have a satelite and sky plus box with a working sky card here in Grenoble france which I pay a subscription to SKy for and its brilliant.
    I would love to get some english channels on a tv downstairs for a guest bedroom and I am wondering is there a way of buying another dish or box that I can get some free english stations rather than paying an additional monthly fee or subscription. Sorry I am clueless at this kind of stuff

    Do some searching on the Satellite section.

    Plenty of similar discussions you basically need a twin or octo lnb added to your dish. This lets you run a new cable to whatever extra room you wish. Then my advice would be to get a cheap fta box.

    Has your dish one of these or something similar?

    If it has then it's only a matter of running a cable from the dish to wherever in the house you want & connect up a satellite receiver.A cheap fta receiver will do.

    Those satellite receivers can be bought in any Carrefour,LeClerc etc. You can buy all the bits,cable,plugs etc there too. If you need some guidance try Youtube or come back to us.
