You can run a coax cable from the rf output on the back of the sky box..

If you only want to view the channel the Sky box is tuned to via the tv's analogue tuner, run a cable from the Sky box RF2 output. You can also use a 'magic eye' to remotely change the Sky channel from the kitchen.

If you also want to use a separate satellite tuner for the tv in question (built-in or separate box), you would run a cable from the lnb on the dish.

Cable from sitting room box to kitchen - you gotta watch whatever is on in the sitting room box.

To connect older box you need to run a cable from your dish to the kitchen. You need to make sure you have spare outputs on your dish (LNB). Probably have spare outputs if you already have Sky+.

You can't just take your viewing card from the sitting room and use it on the older box.

You can watch non-subscription channels on the old box without a card.

Take out the card from your Sky box in the sitting room and you'll see.

Or put it in upside down to get the UK EPG.
