Distant guy

Got chating a guy last week on gaydar, added each other on facebook etc, told me I was very good looking and nice to talk to, he seemed very keen until I didn't hear much after a day. I text him at weekend asking if he had lost interest, he told me he was very ill in bed with a chest infection and his brother was even looking after him, in fairness he told me this when we first start talking. He always texts back and he even sent a screen grab of the tect where he told me at the beginning he was ill which I thought was rather odd.

Despite being sick he is checking his profile on gaydar daily :rolleyes: If people can remember I met a guy last year who fell off the face of the earth when he came down with a 'chest infection' Seriously what is it with me and guys who disappear with a chest infection?! I told him Sat night to contact me when he got better, said he would but to be honest if I was sick with a chest infection I would still be in touch with a guy if I liked what I saw! Infact I was dying earlier this year with one and almost ended up in hospital, yet at the time I was texting a guy I liked. Oh I don't know anymore!

Well it has happened to me so many times that I gave up of going after any guy, I text once or twice and if I don't get a reply I take as he's not interested and doesn't have the balls to come up and say he's not interested. I know how hard it is and how can it affect you! In fact I started thinking I was the problem for some reason I don't know what I was doing wrong. I thought it was me because they were the ones asking for phone number and etc and then they vanish...
After few of those, id say, bad experiences, you learn that it's not worthy to keep pushing at the same guy. You're not doing anything wrong. If you text him and he doesn't reply just let it go. Don't waste your time or suffer for someone who doesn't care about you
