I am restoring a Daewoo Matiz, 99 reg, which was off the road for a number of years. This particular model is fitted with special alloy wheels instead of the normal wheel with plastic trim. However the alloy paint has badly flaked on pretty much all the wheels. Can anyone tell me where I can get paint for theses wheels? The only wheel paint I can get is a kinda grey wheel paint which dosen't come near.
    Cheers
    G

    Something like this?

Don't forget, preparation is EVERYTHING when your doing a job like this.
Also, Ed China's best mate (Acid Etch Primer) can be your friend too!

    Thanks for that
The quartz wheel paint they have is the nearest I got so far. Prices are a bit steep though. the amount i would need to do the 4 wheels would be over €100 including the acid primer, a bit more than I expected.

Gadgetman, I just noticed you are based in Limerick- there's a Boardsie by the name of FiSe down your neck of the woods that can help you out.
Check out his website and give him a bell:
