    I was wondering if anyone would know the best way to resolve this problem;

    I just received the welcome email, however as well as having my student I.D number and the welcome with "Dear David..." at the bottom is also the student I.D number and welcome for another student. I'm not sure if this student received the welcome email, nor if they got it with/without my I.D number also. Who should I contact about this?

    Thanks

    Same thing happened to me but I figured it was just a glitch.

    If you want to raise a query, and I assume it came from provost@tcd.ie, just reply. The person who put together the mail merge (or whatever was used) will get your e-mail.

    I emailed them about it, they said it was a test date/email and it can be ignored. I should have looked at the addressee first..Rosy Carsick from Rosy Lane, Rosy Land :rolleyes:

    It was a test.
    Sounds like you might have failed. ;)

    I'm gonna assume that this was something for new students only?
    (How did ye all get email addresses so quickly? Or was it through CAO?)

    Ah, ok. I was confused, wondering how you could all have TCD email addresses so quickly :o. Must have been something the new Provost brought in, nice idea! :)
