Midwife employment prospects Ireland?

I really want to study Midwifery but I am unsure as to the outlook or employment prospects in Ireland. If I was to do this course I wouldn’t be qualified for another 5 years but I have heard nearly all graduates are moving to England now as there are no jobs. I always understood the hospital you completed your placement would keep you on afterwards. Can someone please advise me more on this?

with the recruitment ban in the HSE there are no permanent jobs on offer. When you finish your training you are not guaranteed a full time job. You can always work in an agency but there is nothing guaranteed.
