Scrap value of a car

    Lots of threads on Boards which want to know the scrap value of a car. Just to let you know that I have telephoned lots of scrap agents- most of whom will not quote without seeing the car though- and best I could get for my Volvo V40 is €100.00.

    Went to NCT last week and failed on loads, mainly corrosion on chassis, corrosion of brake lines, front suspension ball joint... Sorry after it as it was a very reliable car, automatic 1997, lovely to drive but not worth repairing.
