hi guys,im looking for recommendations on a good quiet fast motor for a 1.1triax dish,i have 2 motorised systems for a good few years now and although both motors are working, both have issues, the stab hh90 is after getting very noisy and i dont use it late at night as it would disturb the neighbours and the other one which is out the back at the end of the garden is super quiet, its an sg2100 which is a rebranded moteck if i remember right but the part that attaches to the pole, the bracket, is falling apart with rust, its a known problem and is the only negitave with this motor,if anyone has a motor that they find particularly good and which they consider worth the money they might post back here, regards

get a superior dark motor very fast and robust, there is a later version with LEDs but looks gimmicky

I had a Dark Motor once... ugh, what a piece of noisy junk. Metal gears my ass.

Using a Moteck 2100A for over a year or more, much quieter and definitely more reliable than the Darkmotor. I don't know anything about the "Superior" one, though it wouldn't be hard to be superior to the predecessor :D

I think the Technomate is a Moteck rebadged?

thanks for the replys guys, the new dark motor does look gimicky alright and the one i have is also a rebadged moteck 2100 only its called just 'sg2100', i have it mounted about 5 years and the motor itself is running ok and very quiet but the brackets were very soft and not very well protected against rust, regards
