    Link HERE

Its the same link that I posted for ya a few days ago, it explains everything you'll need to upgrade to an ego/carto kit and where to buy.

And well done on staying off the smokes for 5 weeks :)

anything with an ego battery should do you

since you're already using a cartomiser in an intellicig you might be best off sticking to cartomisers for the time being

dual coil cartomisers or boge low resistance cartomisers are both similar enough.. dual coils are hotter and "rougher" and drain the battery faster, boge's would be a bit cooler with slightly cleaner flavour and the battery would last longer than it would on a dual coil

once you have the ego battery though (or even an ego-twist variable voltage battery) you can pretty much swap between devices at will. if you want to try a non-cartomisers, just buy an ego-t atty, or an ego-c atty, or a vision stardust, or a vivi nova.. etc etc etc and it will work (should.. most devices out there have either 510 or ego fittings so will work on an ego style battery)

Over the last week or so, my advice for a newbie starting out has changed from stock ego batteries and boge cartos to clearomizers and ego twists.

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/blank-cartomizers/150-mini-vivi-nova-tank.html
Mini Vivi Nova, 2ml clearomizer tank, very clean flavour, much better than a carto, no leaks either

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/batteries/33-joye-ego-c-twist-vv-battery.html
eGo-Twist variable voltage batteries, adjust the dial at the bottom to taste, pick up two of these, have one charging while your using the other one.

These juices have really suprised me over the last week, top quality stuff here, their Bright Tobacco is lovely, if your after a tobacco vape.

Good call on the ego twists, the difference in performance is well worth the extra few euro over a standard battery

Wish I'd gone with this set-up when I made the switch. Think I'd recommend the same to any noobie now

Think i'll try one of these. What difference do the different resistances make? I'll be using it with ego twist batts

Lower resistance will work well at a lower voltage, enabling weak batteries to output more watts, which means more vapour & throat hit.
Higher resistance will work well when you bump past the 4v mark, and improve your battery-life.

Can I hijack this thread rather than start a new one?

I am looking for a setup that may be suitable for a business environment. I currently have the 510 T but I am struggling with battery life and consistency with each "hit" but the 510 looks ok in a business environment.

I travel a lot for work and need a setup that:
    - lasts a full day either a mobile charger and multiple batteries or decent battery
    - consistent "hits", the 510 is ok but I would like quality
    - does not look like a "hippy rig" , no offence intended but some setups can be misunderstood

Money is not really an option so not afraid of spending cash to get the best for my needs.

You're limited at that size/style to either getting a 510 PCC for charging on the go, along with some 2.0-2.5 ohm Boge cartomisers for best performance, or ordering the Smokeless Image 'Volt' from the US (with PCC) and those very same Boge cartos.
The Volt has gotten great comments from the top YT reviewers like Steeljan and pbusardo.
The Volt needs an 808-510 adapter for those cartos.

An ego twist might be the way to go. Variable voltage should help with the hit, some proper carto's will also help.
You can charge them via usb, wall charger and I assume you can charge them via usb to cigarette lighter in the car.

A mk11 screwdriver is the business too, excellent battery life, and when you hold it, not too many people will actually see what you are using. It's practically bullet proof too. Batteries are small so it would be no hassle to have a back up in your johnny pocket. (do people still call them that?) Or in your case the handkerchief pocket of your suit jacket.

Sorry for jumping in here. A friend has started vaping and I'm now happy to invest a few quid, based on his positive experience, to quit the tabs and take up vaping instead.
I'm not looking for a new hobby here. Just a cigarette replacement nicotine delivery system. For me it would need to be clean, easily portable, and reliable and simple to maintain and use.
Can anyone suggest an all-in-one starter package that is all of these things?

Thats a tank, batteries and juice,do i need a vapouriser with this that you havn't listed ?dual coil single coil ???and does 650 or 900 batteries matter ?,thanks.

Only other thing you'll need is a charger (Link)

The lower the mah the smaller the battery but you wont get as long out of it, the 900mah is a good compromise between size & battery life

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,556 ✭✭✭✭Sir Digby Chicken Caesar

the 650/900 is just the battery life of the battery. the 900 will last longer but will be bigger than the 650 so it's up to you what kind of life/size ratio you're looking for.

the twist batteries are longer than regular ego batteries too as they need room for the variable voltage circuitry. omoving from cigaretes to a 900mah twist will probably be a bit of a shock but you'll quickly get used to it. they're not unwieldy or uncomfortable in size

the tank listed above has the atomiser in it
    Each Set contains:
    1pc 2.5ml Transparent Tank tube
    1pc Vivi Nova Tank Base
    1pc 1.8ohm Coil Head
    1pc 2.4ohm Coil Head
    1pc 2.8ohm Coil head
    1pc Black Drip Tip

it comes with 3 atomiser heads. when one starts to die, you can replace it with another.. or you can try all three and see which resistance you prefer to vape at. I dont actually know what the deal is with buying new atomiser heads but i can't imagine it's complicated.. they probably have them in stock

if you're looking for a good tobacco juice try http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/eltorocn.htm

delicious stuff, best juice around imo. the rest of e-smokeirelands juices are all top quality as well.

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/chargers/90-fast-usb-charger-for-joye-ego-tornado-eco-ego-riva.html
    charger here for the batteries

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/chargers/79-mains-to-usb-adaptor.html
mains to usb adapter for the charger

cavehill.. eeloes quoted post and the things in my post will have all you need as well, unless you want something more compact. the setup listed here is portable, it'll fit in a pocket and in your hand easily. but if you wanted something as smallas possible while not being ****.. you could go for a 650mah twist battery or a 900mah regular ego battery.

the regular egos are fixed 3.2v voltage though so they wouldnt work great with the 2.8ohm atomiser coil that comes with that tank setup. but the 1.8 or 2.4 ohm coils would be fine

if you dont think you'll want the variable voltage batteries or dont think you'll like the added size (which like I said, isn't uncomfortably long .. just.. it is pretty long)
    you could get this
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/xldcc.htm

    and one of these http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/category-s/1822.htm

once you have those batteries, you can pretty much swap any atomiser/cartomiser/tank onto them if you decide to try something else in the future but that kit will have everything you need except juice.

and if you decide in a few months time that you want to try variable voltage devices, you can pick up a twist or something else down the road.
