school bus to St. Patricks National School, Diswellstown

Does anyone have any information on a bus the brings kids from the local area to St Patricks in Diswellstown in the morning? I believe there was one last year, which picked up children from close to their front door and brough them to the school.

With the school start time at 8.30 and both my husband and I needing to be on the way if not at work at 8.30 I need to sort out how I am going manage to bring my 4 year old to school on the 2-3 days a week that I work (taking first 2 weeks off in order to sort this out but trying to get a head start..). The current creche does not provide a drop off service but will pick up. There must be other parents in a similar situation? Can anybody provide any advise on options?

Thanks to anyone taking the time to respond,

There are not many school buses in this area. Perhaps you could ring the school. Eventhough schools are not back yet, a lot of secretaries and management are in preparing for the new school year. Leave a message and someone will probably get back to you.

I'm a bit confused how a bus would help if the school starts when you have to be at work. As far as I know their policy is smaller kids can't be left in the yard without an adult. I'm open to correction on that. I think you might have to find a different crèche or a minder that does the drop off.
