    Hi,

    Anyone any recommendations on someone to video our wedding and speeches, or a rough estimate of how much on average they will cost.

    Tks

    Paul

    We're getting married next year and have been pricing around. We are looking at video from the brides house until about an hour of dancing. We've gotten prices in around 800-1000, I can give you the name of the guy we're booking (900). He did her sisters wedding about 3 years ago and did a great job

    Hi, our videographer cost $500 and that was up until we walked into the room for dinner. He was great, very non intrusive and we had the video three days after our wedding as we had to go back to australia. PM me if you are interested in his details.

    We booked D-Digital for full day for 700 plus travel expenses, which weren't big. I thought they were really good value. Can give feedback on quality after the wedding...

    We had them for our wedding and are very happy with our DVD. Nothing too fancy but for the price we paid we got very good service on the day and received the DVD within a very short time. Happy to recommend them.

    We had JMB videos, there are 2 cameramen which is great cos you get lots of different shots/angles.

    Slightly more expensive than the suggestions here but well worth it. Extremely efficient and friendly guys, we forgot they were there most of the time!

    A few things that you should check with a potential videographer;
    will there be;
    Multi - angle shots
    Slow motion scenes.
    Opening/Closing Titles option
    Background music
    Interviews with wedding party, guests.

    What kind of audio is deployed? This is important, especially for speeches, vows etc. poor audio will ruin a video more than poor visuals!!!

    How many cameras are used? If it's a one person operation it's usually a bit cheaper than two or more camera operators.

    Discuss camera placement and any restrictions ahead of time with your videographer.

    Are they available for a rehearsal?

    Is there a contract to sign - very important!!

    :)
