Increase in working hours on jobseekers

I'm contracted for 3 days a week and claim jobseekers for the rest of the week. I've been offered an extra day each week for the next 2 months. If I accept it I know I will lose my entitlement to social welfare, which doesn't really bother me. I'm just wondering do I need to notify my local office about the increase and for how long it's going to be? Is there a chance that they will close my claim after a certain amount of slips are sent in with too many days on them? I really don't want to have to reapply
