    I am looking at the dell xps 15 http://www.dell.com/ie/p/xps-15-l521x/pd i just want to know if the specs are any good im looking at the i5 one

    Are the specs good any for what? Your requirements? Maybe, since we don't know them. For 1,500 yoyos? No way, the price is ridiculous. This kinda money will get you close to a high-end gaming laptop

    That depends on your "gaming", the 640M - although not too shabby - isn't exactly a killer GPU (especially not when you have a 1920x1080 full HD display).

    And for that price, I'd expect at least a decent solid state disk, not some cr@ppy hybrid drive.

    Seriously, if you have 1,500 Euro to spend, get a decent gaming laptop, the XPS is a fine laptop (although ridulously overpriced) but it is not a gaming machine.

    Something like this MSI maybe. Or if you configure your own Schenker XMG P502, you'll get similar specs plus a GTX 675M for less than 1,400 Euro (sans the operating system).
