CLCS Language Modules

Hi I was wondering has anybody got any experience with the CLCS Language Modules?

I really want to keep up me French, even though it's not part of my course, so I was looking at the optional evening courses that are run.
    The problem is:
It is important to note that these are not grammar or conversation classes, but instead involve group-based projects with spoken and written components.

They make it sound kind of bad, seeing as grammar and conversation is what I think I should be doing.

    Has anyone done these courses?

I signed up for Irish. But never went.
A few friends of mine did go but most gave up in the early stages.
I heard it's alot of project based work.

The most difficult thing is that they are on during the late evening 7/8.
When you're starting off in college it's hard to get there or to motivate yourself to get there at that time. (Also that was pre-drinks time)

If you're living close, have transport. or are really interest then you can make it.

Content wise I can't give you much more help :)
