Hi, was wondering could anybody help me out with a quick query. A friend of mine is thinking of applying for a graduate property surveyor job with Lisney (Dublin) which is been currently advertised on jobs.ie. However the salary is not advertised and was wondering if anybody knows what a grad property surveyor salary is these days?

I told him its probably 18-22K range I'd expect depending on the company but he reckons it has to be 22K+. Also who'd out of the big companies offers the most and whos best to work for? Any help appericated.

It really depends, in the property game it is most defiantly the companies choice when it comes to workforce. I would not be surprised if it on the 18 scale of things or around that. also be expecting to be worked like a normal flu time worker, as my own experience with property surveying is that most of the work required in the role can be learned within a few months, so it only pays them to have a few very experiences people in the company while the rest can be lower level staff who do the more routine work, like accountants
