Hi All,

Hope you're all in good form, I'll cut to the chase.

I've decided theres not enough wi-fi tourny action around here, so imma host a tourny!

sign ups are in this thread and will be open for a week (or two) depending on interest, as will the number of players.

Operated on a first come first served basis, the number of players will depend on how many sign up. So it could be anywhere between a paltry 2[boo] or an optimistic 16[yay]

Rules are nintendo standard so no sleep clause, evasion clause and the ilk.

Prize could be some IV bred pokés, but prizes aren't important when bragging rights and boards.ie glory is at stake!

Well battle video numbers will be posted here so if you just pop them into your Vs Recorder in game you can watch them.
But that doesn't mean I'm discouraging posting the vids to youtube, please everyone feel free to do so by all means!

Its not letting me update the OP anymore, but my new idea is to run it in a league system. Everyone plays everyone once, 3 points for a win and amount of pokemon KO'd and pokemon lost recorded for tie break purposes.

Thoughts?

Sign-ups close on 23:59 Sunday 23rd. I play to have fixtures up on Monday.

You will have one week to complete your matches, if you cannot play your match it will be given as a 4-0 win for your opponent. Upload your battle videos and post the video number for all matches, only one player needs to do this and it will be used to verify results. The team you play in gameweek 1 will have to be used for the whole tournament. Any other questions just post em here.

ok so whats the craic with registration and what not ? also i've never used the battle recording feature so how would i go about using that ?

By posting IN you're registered. You just gotta save the video when it asks you to after your battles, then go to your vs recorder in game and send battle video. If that isn't it then go to where you go for Random battles and GTS and go to battle videos and then send. Simples!

i have a ton of good pokemon and shinies....on my platinum, if i can be bothered to trade upto to black or white 2 i don't mind putting them up for prizes

Il put up another prize. Whoever, in my opinion, puts up the greatest fightback in a battle, but still goes on to loose that battle, will recieve the most suitable shiny pokemon. Yes you guessed it, a shiny magikarp!!
