A few as on the way to worked this morning noticed a camera van on the side of the road it was red with no markings at all, so one or two of us didn't notice it until last minute, so expecting a fine,
but then someone told me these a are "traffic survey vans" which apparently don't issue tickets/fines. the idea behind them is that they will gather more accurate stats as to the speed on that road, as the majority of drivers will slow when they see a marked GoSafe Van,
    anyone else heard of this?

I saw a red speed camera van heading onto the M9 today

It was driving on the road (to one of the many locations they patrol) rather than parked up

Red Speed Camera van = GoSafe survey van. You're ok, you won't be getting a letter in the post.
