Hampton Court to Heathrow

Does anyone know how much it's likely to cost to get a taxi/cab/anything from Hampton Court to Heathrow ?

On the map they look quite close, but then again on another map New York & Florida look quite close too.

I'm looking at doing something there on a Saturday and flying home from Heathrow at 1910. There should be time, but it would be a bit of a pain in the behind if the taxi cost twice as much as the flight. It looks like I can get a bus with a change somewhere, so that's not too bad. Any other options I could consider ?

Getting a taxi could be your first problem as they are unlikely to be queuing up around Hampton Court on a Saturday evening. (Unless there is an event on).

I'd book one to pick you up in somewhere like the Mitre Hotel or Blubeckers Pub across the road around half 5. They'll have reliable taxi numbers.

Its exactly 10 miles from there to Heathrow Terminal 1 so it shouldn't take anything more than half an hour to get there at that time of the evening. This gives you about an hour in Heathrow before your flight.

    I reckon you're looking at a fare of between £30 and £35.
