    Hey guys,

Completely forgot I filled in the CAO around 6 months ago and got a letter today with an offer for this course. Just wondering if anybody here does this course and what's it like? I heard it's really theory based. I'm doing a similar course in Dun Laoghaire with a year left so I'm wondering if it's really worth switching over? Any help would be great lads :)

I just finished first year of the course. Its split into computer science modules, media studies and then you do an arts subject of your choice as well.
CS modules are all theory based, with some labs where you do programming etc.
The media has one theory class a week and then the practical sessions are over in Kairos (place that makes RTE documentaries and that Angelus thingy) where you play with the cameras and editing software.
And then you've the arts module of your choice :)

If you've accepted it and/or have any questions feel free to PM! :)
