car sump Corrosion

    Hi Guys

    I have 2008 Mazda 3 saloon I got a safety check done on it the guy told me that there was some
    Corrosion under the car around were the sump nut goes is this normal for a 4 year old car and
    Would it cost much to get this fixed .

    Its very doubtfull its anything to worry about, some minor surface corrosion on metal parts under a car is normal after a couple of years.

    As for on your sump, what engine have you got? as most, if not all, sumps fitted to the mazda 3 are alluminum.
