    Hey Guys Have A Little Question For Yous,

    Ok im 17 years of age and recently got my leaving cert results for (LCA) and i failed because i never done my work,but i dont want to go back to the school or any school to resit a session,is there any plc courses i could do in the region of finglas and coolock mainly in computers

    Sorry to hear about the LCA, but you must have had a fair idea how it was going from your results after session 2.

    Contact PLC providers in your area. Plenty of them take people in with failed Leaving Cert (both Applied and standard).

    The problem you will have is convincing the people in the PLC college that you will work on their course, when you didn't for your Leaving. They would rather give the place to someone who will work.

    i am prepared to work now as i am,just i have a bad difficulty with maths and never got help with it,and i really like maths but could never do it and maths and engineering i never done it and some of my tasks i had to do was maths but thats why i failed was because i could never do it no matter how hard i tried

    OK - the first thing to do would be to get someone from your old school to make a few phone calls.

    If you were already in a CDVEC school, they might have some sway on getting you into Col Dhúlaigh or Col Íde or Plunkett or any of the other City of Dublin VEC colleges.

    If you were not in a CDVEC school, contact your local one and see can they help you. At a minimum, a CDVEC school should ensure you get help with your Maths.
