When do timetables come out?

I am a continuing student who normally works in Dunnes during term time. They have said that they will give me my job back this year given that I can fit in the appropriate hours around my timetable...so basically they won't take me back until they know what my timetable is. But I need a job to live on so can't move back to Dublin until I have my timetable and can therefore resume work. Does anyone know when we get these? I know portal says data is projected, does that mean we will have no idea of our timetable until we register? Is there no provisional timetable? I do TSM History and Spanish, if that helps...

Some schools have provisional timetables (like the school of Maths) so you might find something useful if you look around on the school's page. However, some of these may be left over from last year, so I'm not sure how useful they'll be... But you might be lucky :)

Hi! Unfortunately, you're going to be waiting quite a while for your timetable...

I searched my email inbox, and it would appear that we got them around the 9th of September last year and the 16th of September the previous year. The new portal is going live this year though, I have a horrible feeling that this will slow things down even more.

I totally understand your predicament cause I'm currently applying for jobs and everywhere I've gone has been a bit wary of even accepting my application because I have no timetable yet (worst bit is I'm in SS Spanish so I'll only have about 7 hours a week!).

We'll just have to play the waiting game, I'm afraid. The Spanish timetables change wildly from year to year too, so there's no point in giving you old ones either!
