    What car are you driving?
If there's 4.54l in there you need a car that does 60mpg. If there's actually 5l in there..... or 5.5l......

Do you have breakdown cover on your insurance?

Two 24 hour stations in carlow town. Nearest is maxol on o'brien road. Drive to carlow town, when you get to ring road, take signs for Dublin. You'll pass it on the right.

Okay I just got home (4 AM), thanks for suggesting about insurance, I called my insurers and they asked how much petrol I had left, then they gave me nearest 24/7 hour petrol station location and yes it ended up being on way to carlow, it was some weird name, not maxol or esso or topaz or anything, but something I didn't see before, but I was glad to find any, insurers said if I dont make it they will come and help, but I got there barely.

It's my stupid greediness that made me appear in such problem, I had basic logic: Okay dublin, expensive fuel as it's city centre, as I am going to tullow anyways it's kind of village so probably will have a cheap fuel, unfortuentely it ended up not having any fuel at all as all stations were closed and I still ended up paying 1.68 e/pl for fuel.

    Great experience though and lesson.

Thanks for the help, I had this feeling I will end up sleeping in car on Aldi parking lot.

It's never worth the hassle just to save 2 quid on a fill up tbh

Yeah I learned that now. For some reason I always thought that Petrol stations work 24/7 , but guess I was never filling up outside dublin. It was very crappy situation.
