hawk decoy for crows

    Would a hawk decoy work for crow shooting i am getting a hawk decoy off a friend and i seen owl decoys for crows would a hawk decoy work but the only thing is i think it is the ones with the wings open like hes flying would this still work for them

    Owls hawks works same mate
    I seen a video which I can't find now but has a fella shooting a crow and then placin the dead crow at the feet of a plastic hawk and he then had some stress call and blew it for bout 20 seconds and within a minute there was hundreds above his head and him and his mates where hidin and took them with ease

    As far as I'm aware the use of decoys for attracting crows in to shoot them is illegal.............decoys only allowed for pigeons, duck & geese...........serious omission considering they do as much damage, if not more, than pigeons.

    i was on a small road in donabate today down near the sea this morning and seen a hawk not sure what type dive into the ditch and 5 or 6 crows flying around him i thought he had grabbed one but anyway the crows retreated to the phone line and hawk jumped back out and stood in front of the van he looked terrified after a few seconds he took off again and no and behold the crows were on his tail i thought it was gas i never seen this happening before id say a hawk decoy is worth a try after seen that racket
