Hi - does anyone know of any decent (10k +) trail routes in Celbridge?

    Regards

Plenty of grass routes at Castletown House -might need to do two loops to get to 10km.

    Hi billiamgromit,

There are a few options around you.
As said you have Castletown close to you.
You should also check out St Catherines Park in Leixlip/Lucan and Carton in Maynooth, linked by the canal.

Carton house is a good option. It's easy extend any trail by approaching from the Royal Canal and entering the main entrance. A trail map is available here: http://www.cartonhouse.com/upload/docs/Carton-Walking-Trails.pdf

Hi there, are those routes in Carton still open to the public? The last time I was there they had most of it closed off except for the small red trail on the .pdf

Also, I have started a thread in Boards called 'Maynooth Running' if anyone is interested in checking that out.

PS. Don't mean to hijack this thread, just interested in hearing from runners.

    Best Regards,
    Tony.
