need help to id shields

    hello folks,
    im having great difficulty identifying what the shields on this tie pin represent and was wondering if anyone here would have any ideas, thanks

    Maybe its something to do with Fitzgibbon cup. I think I see the NUIG and UCC crests there.

    First one is an old UCD crest (I think),
    Second one is UCG,
    Third one is UCC
    and the fourth one is Queens University, Belfast.

    UCD-UCG (now NUIG) - UCC- Queens? (I see the Red Hand there) I think.

    The original University Colleges.

    I'd agree that it must be something to do with the Fitzgibbon.
