Hello is there any chance of switching courses at this stage if they are not down on your cao. I have applied for Pharmacy in tcd but decided I would prefer Dentistry. Will I have to wait to reapply next year?

AFAIK, there's no changing through the CAO at the moment but you could give it a crack through TCD yourself that is if you have the points for both Pharmacy and Dentistry.

No way to change at this point. The only way you can get a course that isn't on your CAO is if it still has places available after the offers. The chances of this for a popular course like Dentistry is very slim. As the above poster suggested, you can try contacting Trinity directly but don't get your hopes up - it's extremely unlikely you'll be able to get in that way unless you have the points for Dentistry too. Even then it might not be possible but definitely worth a shot :)

Here's a page with information on transferring within Trinity:
    http://www.tcd.ie/Admissions/undergraduate/apply/transferred/within-trinity/

It's dependent on places being available, and you may be better to reapply & wait until next year if you actually want to guarantee yourself a place.
