I know this is somewhat subjective, but was out for a quietdrink with one of my running mates and we got talking about ‘the ultimate 7day/weektraining plan’ and if we had no time/financial constraints etc what would itcontain?

I know people vary and what might work for one might notwork for the other, but would be interested to see what other people’s opinionon what the ultimate training plan is?

I suppose it would depend on the particular discipline you were training for. The ultimate 1500m training plan will obviously vary wildly from the ultimate marathon training plan.

So if I won the lotto :) this is what my training would look like...

    1) more sleep / one hour power naps after training
    2) get my bloods done just encase
    3) get a weekly massage
    4) only eat really fresh well prepped food
    5) train somewhere warm,
    6) general run a lot more and have started 20 years ago!
    7) pay a couch to drag me through circuits/ strength sessions

    I'm not asking for much ! !

You'll need more than the lotto for that one! ;) More like a time machine, and sure if you had one of those you might as well go back to when your times would have qualified as elite!
