My thinkpad notebook behave weird since Friday i.e. key 'k' and key 'i' don't work after computer is powered on. After some time these keys are working fine. Nothing was spilled on the keyboard, notebook didn't fell on the ground.
What might be wrong with it?
Do I need new keyboard or it might be motherboard issue?

Plug in an external USB keyboard and see if those keys work on it. If those problem keys work on it, then you know for sure whether is soft/hardware issue.

Problem is gone at least for now. I don't know what was wrong for few days, anyways your idea is really good. Thanks!
