Means Test questions

    hi all,

I have to go for a means test next week. I am self-employed(if that's what you want to call it!) and would like to know:

If I have some small income from writing do I fail the means test because it is an
    income?

Do they fail you if you have any kind of income at all?

Do they fail you if you're a home-owner? (at the moment my mortgage is interest only)

What other "awkward" questions do they ask?

I have little or no savings and have some credit-card debt and am 1 month in mortgage arrears.

    Thanks

    TW
