    Hi,
I'm currently looking at buying a house in Athgarvan, we picked Athgarvan as it is handy for work and seems like a nice place to raise a family.

We don't know anyone living in the area and would like some feedback on what it's like to like there, Good and Bad.

I'm moving with my wife and two small pre-school children.
Any advice or information would be great

    Thank you

Good: excellent community spirit, brilliant primary school, out of the town, but close enough for shopping, socialising etc.

Bad: the speed people drive through particularly around the crossroads at the Athgarvan inn. Many people ignore the red light. I've nearly been hit numerous times at that crossroads.
