UCD PDE 2012/2013 HELP!!! :/

So Im due to start the PDE in UCD this coming August although I'm slightly confused over the information I've received....

UCD website says to be in UCD on Monday 20th August to 'check in'.....does not say where though?

Also, the letter I received from them says UCD Induction week is starting Monday September 3rd, is this different? I'm just a tad confused and UCD often do forget to update their website (my teaching forms for this year were copies of a 2010 form but noone seemed to notice the incorrect dates in UCD) so I just want to make sure they have their s**t in order and that Im not going on a wild goose chase on Monday for no reason....

If someone could help me on this I'd be very appreciative....

I'm doing the PDE too, where did you see that date? As far as I'm aware, the first time we've to be in UCD is the 3rd for registration

Orientation/Induction week is for all new students but mainly aimed towards the undergrads.
You will have registered online before you arrive. Lectures start on Monday the 10th.

If you scroll to the very bottom of this page, you'll see what has confused me.....thanks for trying to help, it was the "check in" instruction that confused me......I did my undergrad at UCD and I don't remember this event

Hmm don't know what that is! Wasn't mentioned in that letter they sent and they haven't sent any email reminders or anything! Weird...

Yeah it's definitely strange Amy....

I mean it could be a mistake, but I would just hate to think I'm meant to be attending tomorrow and I don't turn up.....Not exactly the first impression I'm after

I might try ring the school of education in the morning for confirmation, but this early in the term there's probably little chance of anyone answering....

Odd they didn't mention it in the letters we got though, right?

It really is odd! I can't imagine them setting something important 3 weeks before the course starts and only putting it down the bottom of a page on their site.
Hopefully they'll have no idea what you're talking about when you call

im also doing this course and lost my letter about induction tomorrow, I know we have some induction/meeting thing at 1pm but I have no idea where??...can anyone help please????

We are in Theatre Q for most of the week. Definitely for Registration at 1pm anyways
