Amp + built in speakers?

I'll start by saying that I don't have a clue about sound systems and would really appreciate some advice.

I'm presently building a new house and would like to install (or at least make adequate provision for) a 7.1 surround sound system in the living room.

I'm obviously no audiophile so I'm not looking for a high end system just something that is going to give a decent sound for movies from my blu-ray player and music streamed of the net.

To set some sort of benchmark some family have a Logitech Z5500 system and I am more than happy with the sound off that.

However I'd like the clean look of built in speakers unless they are completely inferior to standard ones.

For the front and centre speakers the depth available in the stud wall is 105mm deep + 12mm plasterboard to one side. For the rear speakers the stud is 70mm + 12mm plasterboard and the ceiling has 220mm of space available.

I'm living in Sweden so some of the German sellers would probably be good for me and I also have a branch of Media Markt close to me that often have good value on amps.

Hopefully I have given enough info and would be very grateful of any advise anyone can offer.

http://www.tsnversand.de/lautsprecher-boxen-speaker/einbau-lautsprecher/index.htm here is a good range to start with, all mounting depths are included in specs. Just look for reviews of the speakers within your budget and go from there.

Can you offer any advise on what combination of speakers I need?

Do I need to have the same output speakers for the middles and rears or is it OK to have lower outputs for them?

I'm just wondering if my budget is best spent by putting money towards better quality front speakers or in getting similar quality all around?

    Thanks.

It's fine to have lower rated speakers for middle and rear, but you need to make sure that all speakers are at least 10% higher output than your amp channel output. Generally speaking its wise to have the same make/model range of speakers all round, with the exception of the sub. It really comes down to budget when your buying mid range kit, unless you are a true audiophile and can hear very subtle differences, then go with what fits your budget and mounting space.
