Kitchen space

Anyone know of a HSE-approved kitchen space that would be available to a small food business? All that is needed is a few hours per week so a pay-per-use or small monthly\weekly rent would be best. Something like an unoccupied cafe, clubhouse kitchen, etc. Thanks...

Depending on what you are cooking you can cook from your own kitchen as long as it is whats known as 'low risk' foods, such as cakes, jams, vegetrian etc.
Problems with sharing kitchens is that peoples level's of hygiene are different, this will pose a problem with the food inspectors. Just speak to your local Environmental Health Officer first see what they say as they can save you alot of money in the long run. To give them confidence of you running the food business from home go on a basic food hygiene course if you havnt already. If you can stay away from whats known as 'high risk' foods such as meat or dairy produce. Vegeterian food is becoming big business.
    Good Luck.

Food Hygiene Level BRC Grade A.

    Hey,

We are currently looking to rent a kitchen space also. We have located, what we feel, to be a fantastic space in Wicklow but it is too big for our needs. We are hoping to find other start ups to come in with us and share the space. We are in the health food space.

    Would this be of interest?

    Thanks.
