focalprice is run by www.dx.com afaik. expect shipping to take 3-6 weeks (unless you pay extra for the faster shipping which i have not tested)

Always tempted to buy a cheap tablet for just watching stuff on and doing some light browsing when I see one of these threads, but must resist...........

Would people recommend this over the Allwinner A13 in the other thread?

I see the A13 has a 1.2Ghz CPU, could edge it for me

hdmi looks like a useful feature if you could output 1080 to a tv. RAM and processor look a bit weak

This tablet would just frustrate you within half an hour of using it... just think back to your old mobile phones and how long it took to open folders and files... this tablet is that slow.

Dont think i would even buy it for the kids as a xmas gift as they would get very quickly sick of using it.

go for at least an A10.

    Why?
If the guy can save some more money- he could get the very competent Google Nexus 7 (239-249 for the 16Gb).

We're not all iOS fans you know.......

Quite a few problems reported with the Nexus 7, especially around build quality of all things. http://www.pocketables.com/2012/07/poll-how-is-your-google-nexus-7s-build-quality.html

This is not an endorsement of an ipad, just a warning for those after a Nexus 7.
