Signal quality varying

Using an old Sky Sd box for freeview in the bedroom, fed from quad lnb feeding main Sky hd any. Signal strength is good on all 3 feeds but quality on Sd box constantly flicks between very good and none. Any ideas why?

Bad cable connection either on the box or the dish, I would be thinking the box. Disconnect the cable going to the box and see the F connector on the end of the cable is secure.
