Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm just wondering what the approximate cost of getting a damp proof course put in a c1910 mid terrace red brick house would be. Would I be looking at a bill for hundreds or thousands?

    depends hows your diy
i would budget about 2g for professional electro-osmosis install, with brick I would be apprehensive about injection options -

the problem in costing an item like this without a site inspection is attempting to work out the cost of reinstatement for all fixtures, fittings, flooring, tiling, skirting and redecorating that is effected by the DPC, as ideally it needs to go sub-finished floor level

Thanks for the reply, I was a bit worried that it'd involve taking up floors and such. My dad is a dab hand at DIY so I might talk to him about it.

TBH I'm not even too sure about getting it below floor level; from what I've heard of similar terraces (in the UK anyway) they weren't always built with foundations so I guess I'd have to look into that first.
