Well looking around for these and seen a few online with wiggle & Irish online shops.

Want to use them for cycle to work & general road cycles, not long distance.

Want padded ones with plenty of pockets something like these

Anyone recommend a pair & places either to buy on line or in bricks & mortar shop!

    Thanks

I think I got the exact same pair, also from Wiggle. Decent quality, but I find the waist a bit baggy for me. But I'm scrawny.

Seen the Halfords and good price but they don't have the padded back and not sure if there is an option to add this on these?

Had a look in my local Halfords and they did not have these in stock but other baggy shorts did not have the padding

Saves me a journey. I got mine in Aldi and they are grand. Above the knee shell type outer shorts and padded shorts on the inside. Completely removable. So you could just stick a pair of cycling shorts on under combat style shorts. i done 40 k today on main roads and bumpy secondary roads and was a little sore but its only my 3rd spin in 3 weeks. Oh i had a padded saddle too :D. I could have went further though but not much. Im using a mountain bike too

Bought the baggy shorts from Wiggle at least you can remove the inside padding. Although biked into Dublin city center and backside getting use to saddle but they will help.

Tried Wheelworx and cyclesuperstore and wiggle cheaper and others did not have decent stock went there to try out sizes.

Got a decent Jeep bag in TkMaxx during week so using that.
