Is there a best practise? Or way? Like say a members name is bumble bee but you don't want to see every mention of "bumble bee" on boards?

Scroll down, you will see a field called "Posted by User(s):" - just type the username in there.

The omni-search box in the nex Beta skin is perfect for this. Type the username into the box, wait a second and it should come up under the bold heading, Users. Click on it to view their profile.
