asus eeepc 1008ha needs a new screen

hey today my son hit my wifes netbook with a rugby ball and now the screen has white and black vertical lines on the screen half the screen is white and the other half is black when i connect the netbook to the tv all is ok so does anybody know how much it would cost to get this fixed or would i be just better off buying a new netbook

If you want to fix it yourself, $45 glossy or $55 matte here. (On ebay they offer LCD replacements for €400. )

Whether they ship to Ireland I don't know...
