HELP..dcu deferrals

    just finished the leaving cert. and i feel i may get offered a place in dcu..however i decided a long time ago i would defer my place for a year because i only turned 17 a few weeks ago.will i get this deferal from dcu and will they accept that i am too young.im really not ready to go yet and could someone please tell me the dcu defferal procedure.please..also does anyone have any experince about deffering.. im really in unkown terrortory.

    I deferred for pretty much the exact same reason. I just said that in my deferral application, though just to make sure they accepted I did throw in something about needing the year to save up money for college too. Just to be sure.

    aw really..? and on monday if i get the offer do i just write to the college..? how long do you have to write the letter.? thanks a millon for your help.
